Ask for voice modem

I want to ask, what tipe of voice modem we can use for celliax. Can you give me some information? I hope the voice modem's price is not too expensive. Thank you..

voice modems are used by

voice modems are used by celliax for connecting to the old landlines, the pstn, the old good normal phone lines.

at the moment, only the 0.0.32 version of celliax can use voice modems. You can find it in the download section of this site.

it supports ***only*** the voicemodems that are supported by ALSA drivers and ***only*** on linux (ALSA only works in linux) or with the livecd (that is linux).

Those modems are often found in laptop computer, but also in normal computer.

You can check if your modem is supported by ALSA by running the scanmodem utility that you can found here: http://132.68.73.235/linmodems/packages/scanModem.gz

or simply boot with the livecd 0.0.32 and see if it works for you
