Motorola C350 info

Hi all! I'm new to the forum and I would like first to thx Giovanni for this wonderful and ambitious project. I would like to give it a try and I'm looking for a Motorola C350 on ebay. Now my first doubt about this cellphone is this: is it possible to connect the USB cable, the power cable and audio cable to the phone at the same time? or is the USB cable going to charge the phone?

Only the Power Supply Charges the C350.
My testing suggests that the USB cable does not, unfortunately, charge the phone in a C350, so a power supply is required. That is, all 3 cables need to be connected for an enduring connection. Of course it would be nice if it did, I suppose one could add a wire into the Motorola, to make it take power from the USB port power lead, which is presumably not tapped. Any one skilled in this regard?
Modify USB cable to charge the phone

I have tested it myself and it works really well with my Siemens C55, but of course the USB cable has lost his function of transferring data....

Interesting. So it would seem appropriate power is confirmed there in the USB cable. What one could also do is tap the power in the USB and connect up the charger plug to the USB cable (without cutting the USB cable, just baring and making a 3 way join of the black and red wires) One would end up with a power plug and miniusb plug at the phone end, formed by a Y intersection. (Hinkie on different pc!)
