Nokia 1600 (2610) and Celliax thru USB Datacable CA-45

Hi,

What do you think about Nokia 1600 or Nokia 2610. They are widely avaiable (in my town) and cheap. And theese two models has all 3 connectors (power, headset, data). I just found datacable for these models on e-bay. The name for the cable is USB Datacable CA-45. I hope I can make audiocable myself. (Is it the same as audio adapter for Nokia 3310 and compatibles?)

So my questions are:
- Have someone tried Nokia 1600 or Nokia 2610 with celliax thru such a cable?
- What kind of data connector do they (Nokia 1600 and Nokia 2610) have? Is it standart usb with non-standart connector?

probably 1600 2610 works

never tried one of them, but I will try in the future (was planned for when I come back for holydays).

I think they use the Nokia 4pole handsfree (headset) jack, same as 3310.

I think they will work.

I think they will need a special datacable specific for them, available aftermarket (not the CA-45). It probably be an USB datacable with a special connector that goes under the cellphone battery, or such.
