I'm looking to use the Skype channel as an alerting outgoing messaging system should my SIP connections have a problem. Is it possible to use the Skype channel for solely making Asterisks auto-dialed calls without having a GSM cell phone connected? The channel doesn't seem to load if a device isn't connected. If this is possible, some tips on what my configuration should like would be greatly appreciated.
