SMS and mobigater SIP/pro

Hi,
I tried to send an SMS with the celliax_sendsms command over the mobigater device, but it didn't work.
Celliax tries to set the character set with the command AT+CSCS="UTF8" and AT+CSCS="ASCII". The documentation of the modem says that it knows these options only:
"GSM"
"HEX"
"IRA"
"PCCP"
"PCDN"
"UCS2"
"8859-1"
How can I implent this? Is there a way to put this into the celliax.conf?

no SMS for mobigater, yet
At the moment is not configurable.
But I'll get hold of a mobigater this weekend, and during next week I'll look into that. If you do it in the men time, please let us know so we do not duplicate efforts!

The mobigater S4 looks really interesting. I'm thinking if I should buy one or two. How many celliax devices are supported in one asterisk box? 8?
I don't know if I have the time to look further into the SMS thing.

max celliax devices per box is 8 or 256 !
the only limit to the number of celliax devices per box is the max number of devices supported by ALSA. Normally is 8, but there is a kernel building option for having up to 256 (if I remember correctly)
