Avoiding entering through configuration.

Running Knoppix version I found out that it is possible to avoid the configuration at startup by running /usr/local/asterisk/usr/sbin/asterisk

This does not seem possible in Cygwin under Windows. Is there some other possibility to achieve this?

is just different where asterisk resides in cygwin:
/usr/local/asterisk/usr/lib/asterisk/modules/asterisk -c
